Bromyard FC held its annual end-of-season celebration at their Bishops Frome base on Saturday 10th June, with awards handed out to the players and parents vs kids matches!

It's been a first season of football for all of the kids in the under 8s team and they acquitted themselves well, winning a handful of games and improving throughout the season but most importantly earning many friends and representing the town of Bromyard brilliantly along the way.

Award winners were Ella Walford and Freddie Turbill (joint Most Improved Players), Jacob Heard (Players' Player of the Year), Flyn Poyner (Parents' Player of the Year) and Noah Meanwell (Coach's Player). Louie Squire was top scorer. Max Palmer, Erica Tizzard and Wilf Hemsley were also valued members of last seasons 5-a-side team. The team were coached by Ian Walford and Chris Meanwell, with additional coaching and refereeing provided by Lucas Gillam.

In addition to the current team, we have a number of kids who join us to train on Wednesday evenings (Queen Elizabeth High School, Bromyard, 5:30-6:30) - if your son or daughter is currently Year 3 then they are more than welcome to join us.
